Not far from Vashaafaru is an uninhabited island, perfect for an excursion with a picnic. The region is also renowned for its stunning diving and snorkeling spots, home to mantas and dolphins. Various excursions to nearby islands, such as Banana Island, abandoned residential islands, and an island with a lake, are organized from Vashaafaru. Vashaafaru has two diving centers that offer trips to the most beautiful coral reefs and organize dives at shipwreck sites.
