Depending on the length of your vacation, you can choose to visit two or three islands. We recommend spending at least three nights at each of them.

Thinadhoo

The trip starts from Thinadhoo Island, which is known for its stunning coral reef and sandbanks

Thinadhoo has a rich and nice house reef where you can see variery of colorful tropical fishes as well as sea turtles and rays. There are several uninhabited islands and sand banks nearby; Alimata resort can be reached in 30 minutes by speed boat. Night shark snorkeling trips provided by Alimata are offered from Thinadhoo.

Comparing to many other islands, tourist beach of Thinadhoo is quite long (about 500 meter). Sun beds, umbrellas and hammocks are provided for tourists. There are many activities available at Thinadhoo, such as Maldivian fishing, sorkeling, diving, water sports and other island (both inhabited and uninhabited) excursions as well as sand bank trips.

Dhigurah

The second island is Dhigurah, which is one of the few places in the world where you can see a large number of whale sharks.

The tourist area of Dhigurah Island is well-developed, featuring cozy cafés, restaurants, shops, and souvenir stores. The village occupies the northern part of the island (approximately 500 meters), while the remaining 2.5 kilometers are covered by equatorial forest. Beaches stretch along both sides of the island, nearly its entire length, with the tourist zone located on the eastern side. From one side of Dhigurah, visitors can enjoy sunrises, and from the other — sunsets.

Dhigurah island is officially marked with more than 30 diving-points, and the island has its own dive center. Training with PADI certification, trips and underwater tours, often combined with rest on an island or a picnic, occur continuously throughout the year.

Fiyavalhu

At the end we offer you a resort Fiyavalhu, which is located on an inhabited island, separate from the main village, with its own enclosed grounds.

There are several types of villas available in Fiyavalhu, from a budget Garden Villa to a luxury Pool Villa and a Family Villa, which has two interconnected bedrooms. Every villa is located nearby the beach, it will take 1 minute walking to get to the beach from Garden Villa, while Beach, Deluxe Beach and Pool Villas are beach-front.

Accommondation

At Thinadhoo island, we offer accommodation in Plumeria.

It offers to its guests spacious well-furnished rooms; restaurant and bakery where tourists are welcomed to taste internation cuisine dishes cooked by experienced Sri Lankan chefs; diving and water sports centre when you can rent kayaks, standup paddle boards, water ski, wake board, etc. Open air pool, gym and SPA centre are available for hotel guests.
