Thoddoo Island left an incredible impression with its pristine beach featuring crystal-clear turquoise water, white sand, and iconic palm trees. It felt just like a picture-perfect paradise! We stayed at the Vacation Home guesthouse, where the staff were friendly and eager to meet guests' needs. Meals were tasty, and our package included snorkeling and fishing. The beautiful coral reef surrounding the island is full of vibrant marine life, making snorkeling fascinating and the fishing productive.

On Thinadhoo Island, we stayed at the Plumeria Hotel, which offered excellent service. The staff were polite and attentive, and we enjoyed delicious food, a personal waiter, and modern, comfortable rooms. Thinadhoo is quite small, so it’s easy to explore at a relaxed pace in about 15-20 minutes. The clean, picturesque beach has a designated area for swimming in swimsuits, equipped with lounge chairs. You can relax in the shade of the palms or sunbathe, depending on your preference. The coral reef is very close to the shore and in shallow waters, making it ideal for snorkeling, where you can see a variety of fish and underwater plants.

The hotel offers various activities, and we highly recommend the nighttime shark snorkeling, which was an unforgettable experience. On the way to the shark “hangout,” we saw numerous dolphins. Our package also included a picnic island trip and a boat ride alongside dolphins, which we happily swapped for shark snorkeling.

Despite visiting in mid-August (off-season), the weather was mostly sunny and clear for 5 out of 6 days.

We’re grateful to both Vacation Home and Plumeria for making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and a special thanks to Maria from Wild Maldives for helping to fulfill this dream. The entire trip was well-organized, with no issues during transfers or stays. We left delighted with our experience and hope to return to these paradise islands someday!
